Luggage storage Hue Citadel
Where to find it
Every bag is covered up to $1,000. We'll email the exact drop-off address the moment you're confirmed.
The Hue Citadel is the walled city the Nguyen emperors built on the north bank of the Perfume River, a vast square of moats, gates and quiet residential lanes with the Imperial City and its Forbidden Purple City at the centre. This spot is inside the citadel walls, in the lanes near Tinh Tam Lake, and the Ngo Mon gate into the Imperial City is about a thirteen minute walk. Hue is usually a one-day stop between two long journeys: the morning bus or the Hai Van Pass ride up from Hoi An, then the night train north to Ninh Binh or Hanoi. The palaces take most of a day and a lot of walking in the heat, so the bag is better left behind. The spot is open 24/7, so a train that leaves after midnight is no problem. Drop it here, spend the day in the Imperial City and around Dong Ba market, and collect it before the train.
