Luggage storage East Sea Park

East Sea Park sits where Pham Van Dong street runs into the sea, at the northern end of Da Nang's beach strip, and this spot is a few minutes inland from it. The park is a wide public square rather than a garden: thousands of pigeons that will land on anyone holding food, outdoor exercise machines busy from first light, and a row of grilled seafood places that open once the heat drops. The sand here is calmer than the stretch further south, and Son Tra peninsula begins just beyond it, with Linh Ung pagoda and the white Lady Buddha standing on the hillside above. Most flights into Da Nang land in the morning, hours before any room is ready, and that gap is the awkward part of the first day. Drop the bag on your way in, swim or ride up the peninsula, and collect it once you can finally check in.
