Luggage storage Noi Bai Airport

Noi Bai is the airport every trip to northern Vietnam runs through, and it sits 40 kilometres outside Hanoi, roughly forty minutes from the Old Quarter across the Nhat Tan bridge. This spot stands on Vo Nguyen Giap, the road that runs to the terminals, about seven minutes by car from Terminal 2 and a little less from Terminal 1. Most travellers here are caught between two things: a sunrise landing and a hotel that will not hand over a room until two in the afternoon, or a late departure at the end of a Sa Pa or Ha Long trip, where a 20 kilo suitcase does nothing but slow the last day down. Terminal 2 does have a storage room on the second floor, though it keeps counter hours and charges per bag. This spot never closes, which is the point when the flight leaves at six in the morning. Leave the bag here instead, take the bus or a car into the city for the day, and collect it on the way back to check-in.
