Luggage storage Dong Xuan Market

Dong Xuan is the biggest covered market in Hanoi and the wholesale engine behind half the shops in the Old Quarter - three floors of fabric, kitchenware, dried goods and clothing, most of it sold by the dozen. It sits at the north end of the quarter, a short walk from Long Bien bridge and the train tracks. Come with empty hands: the aisles are narrow, the vendors move fast, and browsing with a suitcase is genuinely difficult. On Friday to Sunday evenings, the street outside turns into a night market that runs down to Hang Dao. Leave the bag here first, then shop, eat at the food stalls behind the market, and come back for it before your night bus.
