Luggage storage Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre

The water puppet theatre sits on the northeast corner of Hoan Kiem Lake and runs several shows a day, each about fifty minutes. It is one of the few genuinely old things you can still watch in Hanoi - the art form is a thousand years old and came out of flooded rice paddies. The problem is practical: the seats are close together, there is no cloakroom, and a great many people arrive here in the gap between hotel checkout and an evening departure. That gap is exactly what this spot is for. Leave the bag, watch the show, walk the lake afterwards, and pick it up on your way to the station or the airport bus.
